On Saturday, September 10th I took a stroll through Nakanoshima (’†”T“‡) along the Tosabori (“yŤ˛–x) River. Here's some of the things I got to see. Sorry, I did not photograph any of the homeless people I encountered. I believe that would have been in bad taste.

That's the old Osaka City Hall. The new one is across the street (not pictured, it's dull).

Fanciest. Mailbox. Ever. The inscription says "Mail connects the world."

Actually, that guy sleeping on the right might have been homeless. I didn't wake him to ask.

Is it ironic when pidgeons crap on a statue of a pidgeon? Or would I have to take a dump on it instead?

This last picture is me looking back at the Yodoyabashi (—„‰®‹´) Bridge. There were about a dozen people sitting there, drawing, sketching and painting the view so I figured I'd try to capture what they were marvelling over.
