We viewed the parade along with him. I think he saw <a href="http://akas.imdb.com/title/tt0055630/"><I>Yôjinbô</i></a> one too many times. By the way, that is a cap gun which he delighted in firing at the crowd. As you can see, they were equally delighted by his antics.<P> <img src="http://www.feitclub.com/images/jidai12_s.jpg"><P> <a href="http://www.feitclub.com/images/jidai13_s.jpg"><img src="http://www.feitclub.com/images/jidai13_s.jpg" width=695 height=390 border=0></a><BR> As you can see, they couldn't close the streets entirely to traffic. They just stopped the cars and periodically let them through.<P> <a href="http://www.feitclub.com/images/jidai14_s.jpg"><img src="http://www.feitclub.com/images/jidai14_s.jpg" width=686 height=295 border=0></a><BR> Do you think this guy talks down to these guys the other 364 days of the year? Everyone who spoke Japanese laughed <I>with</i> him, I laughed <I>at</i> him.<P> <a href="http://www.feitclub.com/images/jidai17_s.jpg"><img src="http://www.feitclub.com/images/jidai17_s.jpg" width=648 height=486 border=0></a><BR> I didn't get a shot of it but these guys stopped, shouted a bit and swapped poles by tossing them around.
