This is a display of pitchers who have thrown no-hitters or perfect games. I took this shot to feature David Wells (orange) and David Cone (upper right, flash on his face), two Yankees who threw perfect games in 1998 and 1999, respectively. Once I lookd at the photo I realized it also included Dwight Gooden (upper left) who threw a no-hitter as a Yankee and Kevin Brown (teal) who threw a no-hitter as a Marlin but is currently a Yankee. Pedro Martinez was pictured on the left but I cropped that asshole right out.
Here's Jim Abbott. He threw a no-hitter on September 4, 1993, a game I attended. I really looked up to Abbott because he only has one hand and still managed to be a Major League pitcher.
This is bizarre. Here's a display of the letter Jackie Robinson wrote to inform the Giants (to whom he had been traded) that he was retiring. Why is it written on "Chock Full o'Nuts" stationery?
Here's a candid photo of Kazu and myself at lunchtime. Not much else to say about it.
From right to left (I think!), Taku, Ken-Chan, Kazu, myself, Chappi, and a statue of James Fenimore Cooper.
