No News is Not Necessarily Good News
My job search feels like it's going nowhere. That interview I did last week? Total bust. It appears they only wanted people willing to work for commission which has two major problems:
In lighter news, it appears that my left leg is covered in mosquito bites, no doubt from Saturday's party in rural suburbia. I understand the need to escape the city every now and then but I loathe insects, I really do. This beautiful city is remarkably bug-free. I haven't even seen a bee in weeks!
- I won't get paid until the end of the summer.
- I have no way of knowing how much that check will be.

I am so with you on that one. I have a MAJOR fear of insects. The only bugs that are a bother in the city are roaches, but thankfully after moving out of the college dorms, even those are few and far between.
Good luck with the date!!!

Thanks for your good luck wishes.
The funny thing about roaches is I never saw them until I worked at the post office last year. That little office we called "the branch" was next to a deli and we always had these little creepy roaches crawling around. Lunch was eaten very quickly.
