What's the Point?

I started this blog as a hobby last year. I thought it would be good to get into the habit of writing something everyday, even if it was something as banal as why I hate my job or what I did in school that day. But over the past few months I've been hearing constant chatter about bloggers who do things. They covered the 2004 Democratic National Convention, they questioned George W. Bush's mysterious bulge during the first debate, and just recently they helped expose the fake "journalist" who's been asking loaded questions at the White House.

So what am I doing here? Am I wasting my time? Should I express my outrage over political issues more often? Perhaps I should challenge the inane policies of my school on these pages? What if I just posted links to photos of naked celebrities?

Nah. This blog is reasonably entertaining as it is. Let's just hope my Study Abroad application is approved. Then I'll become an American writing about my experiences in Japan...that's never been done before, right?

Nevermind.

I wish I could have studied abroad in Japan... but I sold my soul to the devil to get into law school. Now I have to find out what else He wants so I can pass the bar...

Oh, I'll be taking pictures! That's why I gripe about my film camera so much. I need to upgrade to digital so I can share the scores of pictures I'll be taking.
