No News is Not Bad News
...but not necessarily good news. It's been a long school week, my first full week of the semester. I would say that I feel a little better about all of my classes, although I'll feel really good when I get some grades back next week in Japanese class. I had some homework this week and a kanji "review" test. I'm not worried about what I know, but I'm a little worried about my penmanship. Early indicators indicate that my professor is a stickler for detail. Did I "cross every radical" and "catch every jump stroke"? Time will tell.
The food certainly isn't getting any better. Tonight my dinner was onion rings and clam strips (I passed on their always-dry chicken wings). The last decent meal I had was, no joke, at the campus Burger King. That Angus burger is good eatin'.
