The Systerm Works!
The JSA thing worked out. We gathered at a local bar, the Long Branch Tavern (no website?), which was really crowded. On the plus side, there were $1.75 Molsons. Afgter drinking an unknown number of Molsons, we migrated to a prviate residentce bnelonging to one of the JSA officers. There we stayed for an unknmown length of times, drinking an unkown number of beers. Eventaully it all ended, and know I 'm home bolgging drunk (drlogging?) while drinking water. I think I tried to call everyone I know in hopes to talk to someone, but no one was at home AND awake. Shit./
Oh, yeah, it's Septenmber 11th today. Never forget.

You know, I got up this morning and I knew there was something special about today. I saw a bumper sticker and it said, "Never Forget September 11!" And I thought to my self, "What ever does that mean?" I couldn't place it so I took a car ride out to Gardner, NY with Wayne and Christy. We piled into a twin engine airplane wearing jump suits, helmets and goggles and at 13,500 feet...we exited.
20 seconds into free fall as the wind screamed over my ears and tears welled up in my eyes, it dawned on me, today is September 11th! It's a damn good thing I've got a parachute!

Sounds like your commemoration of 9/11 was a lot more fun than mine (and much more apropos). Of course, the day ain't over yet...
I'm glad to see you went out with some peeps from the JSA. Sounds pretty fun. Please don't tell me every weekend is spent extremely drunk and alone! Yikes, don't turn this into an after school special.
