Iron Thursday #3
Being sick in college is no fun at all. Classes take twice as long and I'm constantly interrupting the professors with my coughing. Work is starting to pile up, not because I'm falling behind, it's just that more classes have big assignments coming up in the next two weeks. So I'll be doing a lot of reading and writing this weekend, although I think I'll keep writing about me because I've got that particular bug again. The Chuck Palahniuk story is still being edited, I went on a tangent explaining the circumstances of seeing the movie, which is probably better told in its own tale. Don't worry, it'll be up soon, and more!
If anyone's curious, I did attend tonight's meeting of the Anime Gamers Alliance, not a mere "club" as I reported yesterday. Pretty cool, actually. They showed 千年女優 (Millennium Actress), a moving, emotional movie that I would expect the average college-age anime fan to ignore as it doesn't feature giant robots or naked schoolgirls. So to see a group eager to enjoy a quality film like that made me happy. The movie, on the other hand, always makes me cry, so I took careful steps to avoid doing so in a room full of people.
