a history of me

Not much to do today, so I suppose I'll take a moment and gripe about the current performance of the New York Yankees. On August 14th, they were 75-41 with a cozy 10.5 game lead on the Red Sox. As of today, they still have an impressive win-loss record (best in the AL, in fact) but their sub-standard play has allowed the Sox to play serious catch-up. They are now a mere 2.5 games back! I'm not worried yet, as I know the Red Sox will eventually slow down and the Yankees always heat up, but I'm starting to sweat a little too much. And no, it's not the weather. Conditions in Albany have much improved since last weekend.
